Freehills Patent Attorneys is delighted to announce that Jason Manakis is now a registered patent attorney. We are pleased to continue our growth drive and the development of our trainee attorneys is a key component of our success and growth. We congratulate Jason on his registration.
Jason Manakis joined the firm in 2013 after completing a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Hons) degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree at Monash University. Whilst completing his study at university, Jason was employed as a research engineer at the Monash Injury Research Institute, where he assisted with several projects aimed at improving motor vehicle safety. Also at university, Jason assisted the Fluids Laboratory for Aeronautical and Industrial Research with research into fluid flow visualisation techniques, particularly particle image velocimetry, ultimately resulting in imaging shock cells downstream of an underexpanded supersonic jet.
Jason decided to pursue a career as a Patent Attorney as it aligned with his interests in technology and the law. Jason’s current practice focuses on the areas of mechanical engineering and manufacturing, machinery, medical devices, and consumer products. Jason is looking forward to a long career in the Patent Attorney profession working with a range of clients across various technologies.
