FPA is pleased to announce the promotion of Amie Khosla to Associate, effective immediately.
Since joining FPA in January 2021, following her BSc/BA in Physics and Extended Mathematics and PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Queensland, Amie has made a significant impact on the Physics and Engineering team. Her expertise spans quantum computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and electronic and electrical engineering.
Principals Akanksha Dahiya and Carl Harrap commented, “Amie has made outstanding contributions to the PhysEng team and the firm more broadly since her arrival; it was a unanimous decision by the leadership team to elevate her.”
With a deep passion for quantum computing, machine learning, and AI, Amie is driven by the potential of these technologies. She is focused on leveraging intellectual property to help bring them to market.
Before joining FPA, Amie conducted doctoral research in the Quantum Molecular Materials Group at the University of Queensland. Her research centered on theoretical condensed matter physics, where she developed models to understand exotic states of matter. Her work involved studying chemically complex materials, exploring how the interactions among their components led to unique collective behaviours.
