Daneta is a Principal and registered patent attorney in the field of mechanical and manufacturing engineering and industrial design with over fifteen years of experience. She advises clients on patentability and infringement, and prepares and prosecutes patent and design applications in Australia, New Zealand and overseas. She is highly regarded for her intuitive ability to quickly grasp inventive concepts and assess them against prior art, and her aptitude for creating protection strategies to match her client’s needs.

Daneta has previous experience in the automotive industry, having worked for Ford Australia. She has studied ergonomic design principles in relation to consumer and medical products. Given Daneta’s training also included Industrial Design, she is well versed in the preparation, prosecution and registration procedure for designs both in Australia and overseas and has an extensive design registration practice. 

Daneta is a regular guest lecturer in IP at Swinburne University of Technology and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), and plays a primary role in the preparation of education seminars for our clients.
