FPA Patent Attorneys has again been ranked Tier 1 for Patent Prosecution by the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) IP Stars Patent Firm Survey (Asia) for 2018.

The Tier 1 status by the highly respected organisation recognises the firm’s patent prosecution and advisory services in Australia and builds on the success of Principals James Cherry, Tom Gumley, John Dower and Damian Slizys being declared Managing Intellectual Property IP Stars 2017.

The award is based on an annual survey and client interviews conducted by MIP researchers based in London, New York and Hong Kong, concerning IP work achievements, highlights and individual qualifications and expertise.

'Our team is once again delighted to receive this significant, global recognition as it confirms our position as a leading IP prosecution and advisory firm in Australia,’ said James Cherry, Managing Director and Principal at FPA Patent Attorneys.

'We pride ourselves on achieving exceptional outcomes for our clients by developing practical and tailored patent strategies. It’s very rewarding to see that so many of our clients recognise and appreciate the high quality of service we offer.’

'I wish to convey my sincere thanks to all of our clients and associates for their support in helping us to achieve this award. We look forward to continuing to provide the same exceptional service to our clients.’

Managing Intellectual Property firm and IP Star rankings are named annually after researchers collect market information and feedback from thousands of practitioners and clients over a six month period, starting from September each year.
